# About Englewood Boat Tours

Englewood Boat Tours is a real local boating operation built around two captains, three distinct vessels and a simple reason for being here: they love spending time on the water and want to share that part of Southwest Florida with people who may not otherwise have easy access to it.

## Why we started sharing the water

The captains spend as much of their free time on the water as possible. They began offering tours because the lifestyle that feels familiar to a boater can be difficult for a visitor, a new resident or a family without a boat to experience safely and comfortably.

What they enjoy most is watching a guest relax into the day: seeing a dolphin surface naturally, noticing the color change at sunset, stepping into clear shallow water or simply understanding why Lemon Bay feels so tranquil. Wildlife and conditions are never staged or guaranteed. The trip is shaped around what the water actually offers that day.

- Private Lemon Bay tours
- Sunset cruises
- Dolphin and wildlife tours
- Sandbar and island outings
- Fishing boat tours
- Custom private charters

## Meet the Captains

Captain Roly and Captain Ede bring more than 30 years of combined boating experience, but their backgrounds are stated separately so visitors can understand the experience each person actually brings.

He has personally lived and boated around Englewood and Lemon Bay for about two years. His 15 years of total boating experience should not be read as 15 years exclusively on Lemon Bay.

## Our Boats

Each vessel has a different layout, capacity and practical use. The confirmed boat depends on the experience, group size and availability; capacity is never stretched beyond the legal passenger limit.

### Rora²

- Boat: 20 ft Hurricane 201SS Deck Boat
- Power: 200 hp Yamaha
- Capacity: Up to 6 guests

A practical choice for smaller private groups that want an open deck-boat layout and a more intimate outing.

### Louise

- Boat: 27 ft Sanpan Pontoon
- Power: 250 hp Yamaha
- Capacity: Up to 12 guests

The pontoon layout suits larger groups looking for a relaxed pace, shared conversation and room to enjoy the scenery together.

### Duques

- Boat: 38 ft Everglades
- Power: Twin 300 hp Yamaha engines
- Capacity: Up to 12 guests

The largest vessel in the fleet, suited to groups that need the higher passenger capacity and a substantial platform for a custom private outing.

## Where tours begin

Departing from a private dock at the mouth of Gottfried Creek where it meets Lemon Bay. Exact address provided after booking. Parking is available, and guests should arrive 30 minutes before departure for safety instructions.

Restrooms are available before departure. The dock can be difficult for guests with limited mobility, so anyone concerned about boarding, balance or the walk to the boat should call before booking. A straightforward answer about trip fit is more useful than discovering a problem at the dock.

- Review the [weather information](https://englewoodboattours.com/policies/weather/)

## The company behind the public name

Englewood Boat Tours is the public-facing business name. The legal company is PERPETUAL SOLUTIONS INC. This information is stated plainly so guests know who they are contacting while the brand remains easy to recognize.

The team does not promise a particular dolphin, manatee, fish or patch of clear water. Certain areas often produce close but respectful wildlife observations, and shallow-water stops may sometimes reveal clams beneath the sand, but every encounter depends on natural behavior, conditions and a safe route.
